Women are the real architects of society.
Women Empowerment
Raah was established with a strong motive to make women with a disability live an independent life and stand on their own.
With disabilities, our life shrinks, especially those of women, there are limitations all around. There are many, who confine their whole life sitting on a wheelchair without ever stepping out of their shells. This is because they don’t get a fair chance to learn and explore. In as much as a disability has been accepted by society, the truth is that a little stigma is still present. They are willing to work, travel and get social but the marginalized society is what hinders with their freedom. They do deserve fair access but are unable to live an independent life due to various social, cultural and economic reasons.
We at Raah have a simple belief to help every woman prosper and lift each other up by helping those who are struggling with themselves get over their flaws and insecurities
and make ends meet. We have a view of working on projects to enhance the employability of women with disabilities. Health is also our major concern. Since remaining in their homes refrain them from getting acquainted with the facilities and advice they may get.
We look forward to making the world a better place for them by creating plenty of opportunities to work, learn, travel and communicate so that they go out without trembling and live head held high. We explicitly focus on providing them with much-needed tools, skills and resources to turn their thoughts into reality and live with respect, honour and recognition.
